cgi exicution on clean install of ubuntu

Hi

I just installed ubuntu on my laptop for development

I used the install script to install the system.

I get one of two errors permission denied or returns the file to the browser.

I have read post here and tried some of the suggestions but none seem to work.

How can I fix this problem?

Howdy,

Which Ubuntu version is it that you’re using there?

Also, if you go into System Settings -> Re-Check Config, does it detect any problems?

umbutu 14.04 lts

yes did do re-check config no problems reported

did a recheck says ok but did not see any mention of cgi.

phpmyadmin works.
