Can not install Virtualmin on Oracle Enterprise Linux 7.2 (CentOS 7.2)

Hello:
New “fresh” OEL 7.2 Apache server created on VMware (no MySQL or MariaDB due to only running Apache web services on this server).
When I ran install.sh to install Virtualmin, I am getting the following errors/messages:

http://GPL:GPL@software.virtualmin.com/gpl/rhel/7Server/x86_64/repodata/repomd.xml: [Errno 12] Timeout on http://GPL:GPL@software.virtualmin.com/gpl/rhel/7Server/x86_64/repodata/rep
omd.xml: (28, ‘Operation too slow. Less than 1000 bytes/sec transferred the last 30 seconds’)
Trying other mirror.

and

http://GPL:GPL@software.virtualmin.com/gpl/rhel/7Server/x86_64/repodata/repomd.xml: [Errno 12] Timeout on http://GPL:GPL@software.virtualmin.com/gpl/rhel/7Server/x86_64/repodata/rep
omd.xml: (28, ‘Operation too slow. Less than 1000 bytes/sec transferred the last 30 seconds’)

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

That looks like a network problem. Are you able to download files at a reasonable speed on the host?

I don’t think we’re experiencing any performance issues on software.virtualmin.com or the network it is on, and I haven’t gotten any alerts about it, but I’ll run a test to be sure.

I can telnet to software.virtualmin.com 80 with no issues.
The server is a very robust VM that has at least a 100 Gb connection and we use Auto-negotiate. Network connectivity and speed is not an issue in our Higher Educational environment.
What/where would you recommend grabbing the files/package and doing a manual install?
I did find this: http://software.virtualmin.com/gpl/centos/7/x86_64/

I’ve tested and our repos and they’re running fine…something is going awry between software.virtualmin.com and your server. I’m not sure what to suggest for this problem…I’ve got a mirror almost ready to go online, but it’ll be another day or two before it’s live.

And, a manual install is pretty much a pain in the ass. Though if you install all the dependencies manually, and then install virtualmin-base, it should work mostly like doing it with the script.

But, you should probably figure out why the network is slow.
