How do you mean with a mail client? Not sure how it would cause a issue.
Probably depends on what the user has access to. Are they using Usermin or a web mail (eg Roundcube)
They use both a mail client and usermin which is where they have added the auto-forward. This has already caused rate-limiting from the recipient server and I value highly that my server IP’s have always been extremely clean and never listed in blocklists.
They have also previously created an auto-forward from the other server back to here and one from here back thinking that both servers would then have all emails.
I pointed out the problems with that looping and deleted his auto-forward in Usermin, but seems they don’t really want to learn, so I need to remove the ability to create an auto-forward in Usermin, but just for this client.
Alternatively can I block this client from using Usermin without affecting anyone else?
They can use their pop3 client.
I would have thought so - but not familiar enough to know how to make a suggestion.
Huh users, who refuse to learn, who’d have them
