Bug of Virtualmin version 7.30.2

Is that released? I started the progress of preparing and reproducing the error one hour ago, so now I’d like to know what to expect, after I’ve executed the upgrade, which are actually the next step :upside_down_face: .

The time I’ve spend since the last post, was to actual give you the insights, as promised. But now I guess I’ll wait for you follow up answer?

@exetico No, not yet released. @Jamie, we must be good to go with 7.30.3.

Please let me know what to do as this point  ; I’ve spun up a server, that do use my own resources, and spend the time on creating and cleaning the instance.

But if you don’t need it for anything, I’ll just close it again.

I guess I misunderstood:

For what purpose did you spin up a server? Was it for testing? Do you have steps to reproduce the issue?

For you to validate, what’s the actual problem? But I’m closing it down, deleting it, and calling it a day. For me it really sounded like we’re trying to guess the problem, with that kind of not-that-precise error thrown.

But, let’s call it a day  .

Yes we are good to go. Shall I do a new branch?

No, no, I took care of the branch here:

Dear Llia,

Thanks for your reply !
I have replaced /etc/webmin/virtual-server/config with the previous original version and all mentioned methods discussed in this message group but all methods cannot work. It works until I have restored to use the previous MySQL database.

The SSL Certs of two websites maintained by VirtualMin are expired.
I think that VirtualMin may bug to handle this issues for SSL and produce the wrong error message although I have NOT stop any modules (that means all modules are running). OLD versions do NOT have my reported problem.

Will you mind to check if current version or newer versions of VirtualMin is handling SSL with some mistakes and then produce my reported error message ?

Thanks !

Best Regards. Cloud
