Hi,
For some time now my backups only complete partially. Based on the messages in the emails, seems like they are failing on connecting to mqsql. Here is the error log:
Backup is partially complete. Final size was 726.97 KiB. Total backup time was 00 minutes, 52 seconds.
.. backup of mysql failed : mysql::execute_sql failed : DBI connect failed : Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysql.sock' (2)
On inspecting the Webmin MySQl Database server, I am seeing this error over there:
Error! MySQL is not running on your system - database list could not be retrieved.
MySQL error messageThe full MySQL error message was : DBI connect failed : Can’t connect to local MySQL server through socket ‘/var/run/mysqld/mysql.sock’ (2)
Not sure if these are related. Any ideas on how I can go about troubleshooting this?
