I want save a copy of the entire mysql database on the server once a day. Then have backup copies older than 7 days deleted.
So I set up the ‘file on server’ like this?
/jess_bu/db/jess_mysql_%Y-%m-%d
then I am saving it with the ’ Single archive file’ checked (and the strftime-style time substitutions checked)
Do I need to include an extension on that file name? If so, what?
Does it save in a propriety virtualmin way, or is it in sql so I can unfurl it on another mysql db even without vm?
Thanks for any help,
Chris
