Backup fails

I have a daily backup that is failing for one of my servers. The error I get is:

Backing up Webmin ACL files …
… tar failed : tar: Cowardly refusing to create an empty archive
Try tar --help' or tar --usage’ for more information.

Any clue on how to resolve this? I would like to find a fix so that I only get emails if there really was a problem.
