is there any way to protect web access with login form?
Whoch login form ? Webmin, usrmin or some app you have running
Nearly every web application has a login form. A method of gaining user input with a username and password (or an email address and a password) there are some other newer methods available. but all require some user input/token system. Blocking global access to the form makes no sense (the security is in the way the input data is handled eg password encryption and storage)

i tried to recover a unfinished customerĀ“ proyect from a dead friend designer. i recover the entire drupal proyect , but this web is protected with a login form (equal to htpassword) but in the VS there isnĀ“t protected folder, and if i trace for manually protected forder w/o success. in the past, when i restored VS from a backup, certain skill werent recover, o the flags of this skill showed disable, but it remained enabled. is there any chance of similar problem? ( i recover proyect from a VS backup). are there any way to create a HTTP auth in this VS . User name and password of this login are specific and diferent from Virtualmin or drupal set.

Just create a protected folder for the domain from the virtualmin menu, web configuration->Protected Directories
