I installed phpMyAdmin via Ubuntu’s apt and removed it shortly after (purge and autoremove). Since then, redirecting from admin.DOMAIN.TLD to DOMAIN.TLD:10000 stopped working. Instead, the call fires up DOMAIN.TLD
It isn’t really an issue because the access works when using the IP or domain plus port – just the handy shortcut is gone. Any idea why this happened?
check the website config and the directives, its hadles that.
Can’t see how that would of changed though.
.htaccess can also override that, maybe the apt install added stuff.
These directives remained unchanged. I restored an older backup (before the phpMyAdmin eff-up) but the issue is still present. It’s a funny issue as I can’t figure any changes to established files.
Could be a virus scan or firewall update or security setting in your browser that was changed hehe that caught me the other day TBH. Forgot all about it I had upgraded security on my device I was accessing it with. I felt pretty empty between the ears when it came to mind exactly after posting so I turned that setting off temporary and bingo that was the trick.
