Hey, i installed the Jailkit to my server and then enabled on virtualmin, what can i do? I dont see something folders, my name is “I have no name!@host :~$” im in the folder of the virtual machine, and when i enter “ls -l” it comes (total 0) why?
Problem is also:
in home i can see, it exists a chroot folder. in there a random id, and in there the folder of the virtual machine, but its empty!

some find the basic isolation that Virtualmin provides very adequate — that is, jailkit is not even needed.
other postings in the past show that setting up jailkit does take some effort You should be sure you actually need it.
Any specific function or issue you are solving with jailkit?

you should not need to install, it comes with Virtualmin.
I never used though.
Its best to search the forums before doing things like this.
Virtualmin Team did a great job getting over years and many discussions a new feature, jailing VM users to their home directories. You will discover over a while it is more than jailing.
This feature is available starting with Virtualmin 6.0. Here are the steps to get it working:
