hello I would like to know if this is normal because I can’t install everything

[9/21] Configuring Postfix ▒██/usr/sbin/postconf: warning: valid_hostname: numeric hostname: 8.8.8.8
/usr/sbin/postconf: fatal: file /etc/postfix/main.cf: parameter mydomain: bad parameter value: 8.8.8.8
▒▒▒Error: Failed to regenerate table /etc/postfix/virtual: postmap: warning: valid_hostname: numeric hostname: 8.8.8.8
postmap: fatal: file /etc/postfix/main.cf: parameter mydomain: bad parameter value: 8.8.8.8
?

Why are using googles ip address for a hostname ? Should be something like serv.vertualmin.com whatever you want but not an ip address

how fix this Error: Failed to regenerate table /etc/postfix/virtual: postmap: fatal: unsupported dictionary type: dbm. Is the postfix-dbm package installed?

You should start with a completely clean Ubuntu 22.04 installation. Don’t pre-install anything, and just let virtualmin-install.sh script to do the work!
